I was pleased the other day to be outside when the swallows came back. On their first visit of the year they make sure their house is still awaiting them. I think Harrogate near Leeds was one of the first sites where red kites were released, Mark. When we go to Harlow Carr, we often see them citcling above. When we visited one garden we had the opportunity to watch one in flight from quite close quarters. We think that last week we also had a buzzard flying high above the allotments.
