ReplyDeleteTigers are magnificent creatures are they, Dina? These are part of a breeding programme. They have reared three cubs already so have to wait for a go ahead to try for more so the gene pool doesn’t become diluted.

ReplyDeleteThat’s why these places are important, Lisa. They are involved in lots of conservation, breeding and reintroduction programmes. One of the tiger cubs when it was grown up came over to the US to breed there.

ReplyDeleteThe photos were taken at Yorkshire Wildlife Park which is about 45 minutes from us Nadezda. We have an annual,pass so visit fairly often.
