Under cover of darkness

  1. Lovely. I have one of those ferns (2nd and 3rd pictures from the end) in my front garden. The leaves are quite battered, but suddenly it has lots of new ones waiting to unfurl. My mind has gone blank as to what it's called.

  4. Big fan of ferns, they are very useful plants. They happily out grow terrible slug damage, there are lots of sizes & leaf shapes, and there is a variety for all types of growing conditions.

  9. Although I've never grown ferns I think they're fascinating plants. Taking photos of them in the dark gives them a whole new persepctive. I especially like that second to last photo, it looks like something from another world.
