  2. I've never grown ferns but there's a really shady spot in my garden and I'm wondering whether to put some in there. You've got a good selection there.

  3. Lovely. I'm a big fan of ferns since someone told me that slugs don't eat them. I'd like to put some in my shady and empty front garden - at the moment I one of those disgraceful front garden people with no plants. Me! Who loves plants and hates empty gardens. But it's one of those things I haven't got round to yet. 2014 will be the year...

    1. I love them CJ and slugs and snails don't bother them at all. There is such a wide range of shapes, colours and sizes too - go for it.

  6. I'm quite keen on ferns these days too - gradually building up a little "fernery" like yours. Because of the mild weather this Autumn, mine have been very slow to die back this year.

    1. The window is to the summerhouse Angie so I may have to have another fernery that I can see from the house.
