    1. It's some sort of fern, Leanan maybe Dryopteris affinis Crispa. I'm afraid we got them before we were organised enough ti keep records of varieties. It is very upright when young. I think only the bottom two though are this plant. ferns tend to be softer when they are young and then the frond go stiffer.

  2. I love ferns! Like you, I have several different varieties. I really think they add something special to a garden.

  5. I had a couple of lovely ferns growing near the pond last year till hubby decided to go round everything with hos strimmer. They're back this year and under my protection lol.
